Users can choose, set and change their own common password across a growing number of UIS services. A known UIS Password can easily be changed by using the online UIS Password Management Application.
Time-limited password reset tokens are available from institutional Computer Officers or the UIS Service Desk. This will enable a password reset, thus regaining access to UIS accounts.
This service is free of charge.
How to change your password(s)
Use the UIS Password Management Application to change your UIS Password, or individual passwords for Raven, Hermes or Desktop Services.
If you forget your password(s)
The procedure will vary depending which password it is you have forgotten. Please visit the Passwords on UIS Accounts web page for full instructions.
Password changes are near instantaneous using the online password management application.
On production of a valid photographic ID, Password Reset Tokens may be obtained from local Computer Officers or the UIS Service Desk within a few minutes of asking, during normal working hours.
