The Streaming Media Service for Webmasters is free of charge to University staff.

How Do I Get This Service?

How do I get this service? 

Streaming Media Service for Webmasters can be obtained via self-service through the embedding content in web pages site, SMS section.

Two methods are available, depending on the web host - using the oembed functionality or embedding an iframe into the code of the page:

  • oembed: For web hosts that can accommodate oembed, users simply need insert the URL of the audio/video on the sms
  • iframe: For other web hosts, the code for an iframe of the content can be collected from the sms and inserted into a web page.

Falcon websites support both of the above methods.
