Service Features & Benefits 
Local connectivity to the Cambridge University Data Network (CUDN) and the internet, providing:
  • secure, high-speed connections within the Institute building for its members
  • WiFi coverage supporting UniofCam and Eduroam connections for personal devices.

Alternative secure WiFi connections are also available on request.

Service Availability

Service Availability 

Services are available 24/7 via self-service after initial setup by the Computer Office. The wired network requires full Criminology user authentication with Raven credentials.

WiFi coverage via Eduroam - after initial configuration - is available to any member and academic visitor who already hold an Eduroam account.

WiFi coverage via UniofCam is available 24/7 via self-service; either by Raven authentication for University members or by temporary guest tokens made available by the Computer Office.

Visitors without an Eduroam account will be issued with guest tokens for UniofCam free of charge by their hosts.

Local Network Services are supported during normal opening times, plus best efforts, depending on the severity of the issue(s) encountered:
