Features and Benefits

Service Features & Benefits 
Local connectivity to the Cambridge University Data Network (CUDN) and the internet, providing:
  • secure, high-speed connections within the Faculty building for Faculty members
  • WiFi coverage supporting UniofCam and Eduroam connections for personal devices.

Service Availability

Service Availability 

The wired network is only available 24/7 via self-service to Faculty staff. 

WiFi coverage via Eduroam - after initial configuration - is available to any member and academic visitor who already hold an Eduroam account.

WiFi coverage via UniofCam is available 24/7 via self-service; either by Raven authentication for University members or by temporary guest tokens made available by the Computer Office.

Visitors without an Eduroam account will be issued with guest tokens for UniofCam free of charge by their hosts.

Technical Support is offered during normal working hours yet is often on a case-by-case basis depending on staff availability:

Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm (plus ad hoc and best efforts)
