Access to the local network, the Cambridge University Data Network (CUDN) and the internet for members of the Department of History & Philosophy of Science and academic visitors.

Local, fast and reliable connectivity to CUDN and the internet, providing:
  • secure, high-speed wired access accross the Department with fixed addresses
  • WiFi coverage supporting UniofCam and Eduroam connections for mobile devices.

Local Network Services provide reliable high speed internet access and offer a consistent WiFi service portfolio across the entire Department.

Service Availability

Service Availability 

Wired network connections are available to all members of the Department and authorised guests 24/7 via self-service (should out-of-hours access to the building be granted). 

WiFi coverage via Eduroam and/or UniofCam requires an initial configuration procedure.

UniofCam is available to members of the University via self-service with Raven authentication.

Eduroam is available to University members and academic visitors who already have an Eduroam account and requires an initial configuration procedure. Visitors without an Eduroam account may be issued with short-term guest tokens for UniofCam by their hosts or from the Department reception / IT Office.
