This service allows remote access to the Managed Cluster Service (MCS) Linux service.

Features and Benefits

  • possible to use a number of remote access MCS Linux servers (ssh, slogin, scp and sftp)
  • the remote access servers located in the UCS machine room
  • the only image difference is that the servers permit remote access
  • available to everyone with an MCS account
  • dedicated institutional servers purchased by the institution for use by selected users (access to this type of system is restriced by membership of a group)
  • membership control is delegated to the institution in question
