The chosen provider for the University of Cambridge's mobile phone service is O2. Due to the amount of mobiles under contract with O2, the University is guaranteed a significantly better service from O2 compared to contracts which are bought off the high street.

The University Telephone System's (UTS) O2 contract offers: 

  • free calls between University extensions and University mobiles
  • free calls between University mobiles
  • (almost) free line rental
  • flexible tariffs and a choice of contract lengths.

For departments, all bills are invoiced direct via CUFS journals, reducing the administrative burden.
