Information For Users Of The Service Catalogue

The University IT Service Catalogue will be decommissioned in the Summer of 2021. This website is no longer being maintained.

Membership of the TechLink scheme carries with it a number of mailing lists (ucam-itsupport, ucam-dept-itsupport, ucam-college-itsupport). Membership also offers the ability to access a number of online tools such as the TechLink wiki and a fast-track via the Service Desk.

  • Seminars: members of the scheme get to attend seminars to hear from technical experts and service providers
  • Peer support: members of the scheme can subscribe to a series of mailing lists
  • Preferential Service Desk access: members of the scheme have their Service Desk requests automatically fast-tracked

How Much Does It Cost?

How much does it cost? 

The service is free of charge for institutions that are part of the Collegiate University. 

Membership privileges for collaborating institutions may be chargeable.

How Quickly Can I Get This Service?

How quickly can I get this service? 

Delivery lead times vary depending on the admin time required to check eligibility and activate membership.

(Please note when making contact: messages sent to the Service Desk are normally picked up very quickly because during office hours one of the Technical User Support staff regularly monitors incoming mail. In contrast, queries emailed directly to individual members of staff may encounter long delays if the recipient is absent or busy.)
