Federated Services

University Information Services (UIS) provide a number of collective software services and general applications. They allow local IT support officers to access them for their own use, while running and maintenance are carried out by UIS.

The provision of IT Support within an Institution on a flexible basis.


Institutional Strategic Services

A portfolio of services aimed predominantly at Institutional senior management to provide consultancy in bridging the management and IT function of an Institution.


Specialist Technical Support

Specialist Technical Support helps IT Practitioners and Researchers at the University solve specific technical issues. The service is available in a number of areas including Scientific Computing, Windows and Mac.


The TechLink Scheme

 

The TechLink scheme is a membership-based portfolio of services aimed at IT staff in the collegiate University with the aim of developing skills, pursuing a shared strategic vision for future IT deployment and fostering community and peer relationships among IT professionals.
