The University IT Service Catalogue will be decommissioned in the Summer of 2021. This website is no longer being maintained.

UIS provide a wide range of instructor-led training, with an extensive portfolio of IT skills courses. This service is available to all members of the University and its affiliated institutions.

  • non-certifcated training, e.g. programming and scripting, web design, Microsoft Office
  • certificated training, e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, VmWare
  • UIS-supported systems, e.g. CHRIS, Moodle, Falcon, Drupal
  • bespoke training to University Institutions and Colleges to support their individual requirements, e.g. system roll-outs
  • hosting IT training courses delivered by external providers
  • making third-party referrals to established IT training companies at a substantially negotiated discount

How Much Does It Cost?

How much does it cost? 

Most courses are free to current staff and students of the University and Colleges.

For other attendees, including Cambridge University Press (CUP), the service may be chargeable.  

Certain courses that lead to qualifications incur a charge for all attendees.
