The University IT Service Catalogue will be decommissioned in the Summer of 2021. This website is no longer being maintained.

The Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences provides visitors with interactive displays as well as digital guided tours to the collections for an enhanced visitor experience.

Features and Benefits

Service Features & Benefits 

The interactive Charles Darwin Globe Projection provides background information on places where rock samples were collected during the HMS Beagle voyage. It uses Windows-based software to help bring the event into the 21st century.

Digital guided tours using iPads are also available for visitors who wish to find out more about the exhibitions and galleries on display.

Service Availability 

The guided tours and interactive displays are available to visitors by self-service during Sedgwick Museum's opening times:

Monday - Friday: 10am - 1pm and 2pm – 5pm
Saturday: 10am - 4pm
Sunday: CLOSED

The Museum is closed on the following Bank Holidays: Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Good Friday.
